iTOPS is a dynamic IT services company that specialises in designing, implementing, and supporting dependable IT systems and solutions.
Founded in 2006, iTOPS is based in Christchurch, New Zealand, and has clients throughout New Zealand and overseas.
We have a strong desire to exceed customers’ needs and expectations. We deliver the results and services that ultimately develop strong relationships, repeat business, and referrals. Josh has been working in information technology since 1998. He has qualified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, a Cisco Certified Network Associate, a VMware Certified Professional, and has an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management. He earned a Bachelor of Forestry Science from the University of Canterbury.
Before iTOPS, Josh worked for four and one-half years as a systems engineer and software configuration manager at Hewlett-Packard in Christchurch. Prior to this, he spent a year and one-half working in Silicon Valley technology start-ups, as both a systems consultant and systems administrator. He gained early career experience in Sydney working at the University of Technology and in the Netherlands working for AT&T Unisource. In his free time, Josh is committed to his family. He makes the most of the outdoors, enjoying camping, skiing/snowboarding, mountain biking, and the beach.
Michael Solovyov – Senior Systems Engineer
Michael has been working in information technology since 2004. He joined iTOPS in 2013. He has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Michael spent eight years working as a senior system engineer at a major retail company in the Ukraine implementing projects throughout the country. Before that, he worked as a systems administrator, for a metallurgical plant for two years. Michael immigrated to New Zealand in 2013 seeking a better lifestyle than was available to him in Ukraine. He and his wife, Julia, have a beautiful daughter, Dasha.
Dan Doller – Systems Engineer
Daniel has been working in information technology since 2010. Prior to joining our team he was a Systems and Network Engineer for Hewlett Packard in Christchurch. He specializes in Virtual Environment planning and implementation utilizing VMware and has a vast knowledge of HP server products and networking equipment. Daniel enjoys spending time with his kids and he is an avid gamer in his free time.
Daniel Tovizi – Systems Engineer
Daniel has been working in the Information Technology industry since 2011. Daniel previously worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Christchurch where he was part of the Level 2 Support team that looked after HP’s clients in New Zealand and Australia. Daniel also worked for a national ISP, Snap Internet. Daniel achieved a Diploma in Computer Systems and Network Administration during his studies at Electec and has obtained an ITIL Foundation Certification during his time at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In his personal time Daniel enjoys going to the gym, being part of his indoor netball team, as well as airsoft and video games.
Ryan Milbank – Contract Systems Engineer
Ryan has been working in information technology since 1997. He has qualified as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He earned a Bachelor of Forestry Science from the University of Canterbury. Ryan has been providing onsite contract support in Auckland for iTOPS since 2007. He has been running an IT consultancy business since 2004. Before this, Ryan worked as an IT manager for Fisheye, an IT solutions company, and as a network engineer for Radionet, a wireless internet service provider. He gained earlier career experience in London working at VISA and Lincoln Insurance. Ryan alternates between riding and racing Vespa scooters and supervising his friend’s 60-foot launch in his spare time.
